Itinerary

Day 01: Bangalore – Mysore (140 kms)

On arrival at Bangalore Airport/Railway Station, our Aarambha Holidays driver will welcome you and drive you to Mysore.

En route, visit:

• Srirangapatna – the island town on River Kaveri, home to the famous Ranganathaswamy Temple.
• Ganjam Village – known for rose cultivation and delicious gulkand. Also visit the 400-year-old Sri Nimishamba Temple on the riverbank.
• Tipu Sultan's Summer Palace – showcasing murals and gardens.
• Ranganathittu Bird Sanctuary – Karnataka's largest bird sanctuary (optional Mahadevapura Bird Sanctuary for bird lovers).
• Mysore Zoo – 157-acre zoological park with 168+ species (closed on Tuesdays).
• Aqua World – India's largest underwater aquarium.
• Sand Museum – rare sand art creations.
• Amba Vilas Palace (Mysore Palace) – the official residence of the Wodeyars, second most visited attraction in India after Taj Mahal. Don't miss evening light shows and weekend illuminations.
• KRS Dam & Brindavan Gardens – Asia's largest dam when built; famous for its musical fountains and evening light show.

Day 02: Mysore – Ooty

After breakfast, check out and head to Ooty via Gundlupet.

• Mudumalai National Park – another chance for a safari (till 10 am).

• Silver Cascade Waterfalls – 180 ft cascade formed by Kodai Lake overflow.

Day 05: Kodaikanal Sightseeing
